Satan's Grill

This week has been beautiful. I am so happy Spring is finally here! Gabel and I were able to get alot of things done in the yard. I was able to plant some beautiful flowers and Gabel has been working on putting in flower beds where we removed the bushes. Yesterday we went to Lowe's to get some brick for our flower beds and we decided we were also going to get a grill. Well we had a little mishap on the way home. We were driving up a hill and suddenly I feel like we had a flat tire...no it was just the grill. The grill had fallen backwards and almost flipped out of the truck. We had brick in the back of the truck so our new grill has several scratches on it. It looks like we should have gotten it on discount but no! Well the story gets better. When we get it home, Brad was there (Gabel's dad). He helped Gabel unload the truck and started helping Gabel take the grill to the back porch. We have four very old concrete steps going up to the back porch. These steps are ready to collapse at any time. Well Gabel gets up the steps with the grill and Brad ends up stepping on the 2nd step and it gives way. It is probably a 6ft drop to the ground. The grill got caught on the side of the porch...luckily Colleen was there to help us with it. Brad ended up hurting his heel....which seems to be feeling better now but last night he could hardly walk on it!! So the grill and Brad are both save. You would think that we wouldn't want to even turn the grill on...but hey it works very well!!! We made delicious Kabobs and hot sausage.
